Welcome to Madeleine
The #1 French Cafe in San Diego

ABOUT US
Cafe Madeleine is a french restaurant & cafe with Three locations in San Diego, inspired by the sidewalk street cafes in France. From the sidewalk chairs to the mural of Toulouse-Lautrec-like decorative painting on the Juniper Street side of the building done by Alexandra Pastorino, a French artist. The art nouveau style of the cafe, outside tables and crimson umbrellas lining the sidewalk, complete an ambiance fit for Paris, France.

South Park
After numerous trips to Paris and other French cities, owner Christine Perez decided to turn what was then a candle shop into a french cafe. In 2010, working with french chefs she developed a menu including crepes, french pastries baked daily on-site and top of the line Illy coffee.

North Park
After searching for an additional location, Christine located a former wireless store on the corner of El Cajon Boulevard and Utah in North Park. During the build-out Christine personally worked on the project, selecting materials and participating in the installation.

Barrio Logan
Inspired by the vibrant arts and cultural scene of Barrio Logan, Café Madeleine expanded into the neighborhood to create a welcoming space that blends French café tradition with the energy of the local community, offering handcrafted pastries, crêpes, and Illy coffee served fresh daily.

San Diego County
Café Madeleine’s San Diego County location was created to bring authentic French café flavors into a civic space, offering visitors and employees a place to enjoy fresh pastries, crêpes, and premium Illy coffee made daily with the same care and quality found at all Café Madeleine locations.
